Looks like 300 series equipment. The 200 and 300 series of systems from IBM and compatible equipment from HP, Leading Edge, and DEC include mini/microcomputers, and specialised peripherals like network printers, cash registers, access and fire control, etc. The mighty beast of minimalist functions.
Gold cap boards are gold cap chip board. Others are high telco. These don’t come up often. A surprisingly large numbe of them are still working in their original homes in high rise/skyscraper basements. Running water pumps, electricity, elevators... lots of large offices use them still too. Along with Apple’s servers... they just work and keep working. Walmart and most good will stores use them for their POS/POP/POR system. Albertsons’ for their non-self-checkout registers. Most medical office buildings have IBM or DEC 2/60 or 320 systems for the fire and access system.
think about that the next time you hop on an elevator or escalator in some old building. The computer controlling it is probably from the 80s, or older. ;)
