I really like the plastic inside for softlight and photographic backgrounds but I also found this, I'm not ashamed to say I should pay more attention to IC Chips but are those the chips on this long board. As they are $5 a pound I thought the board was barely anything

The one gold board looks like a computer board with chip and the other
are thin strips with some gold and what looks like copper thin cable.

What category are these boards. AND did all the prices just go down drastically or is that new payout board confusing>

all those boards will be Peripheral Board grade.

with the exception of the power board the one in the picture below (its low grade)
and maybe the blue gold platted board in the 2nd pic (also thinking thats Peripheral but not a 100 percent never seen one of those)

Thanks, I will take the low grade board apart to see what is on it. I would not sell the gold board until I gets some close ups and shop it. I want to go on you tube for some more info on IC chips as well. I will post one more close up of the gold board when I get some light.

For the low grade board, I would only remove transformers, heat sinks, and IC chips. Transformers that have exposed copper can be broken down for #2 copper. All other transformers you can sell as-is.

That gold card... the auo-016k1 is the smart controller
I'm not sure if Boardsort would bump it up or not but it's Atleast peripheral.
Email them a standalone picture for a definitive answer... and let us know.

And yes the prices of aluminium copper and tin have crashed so escrap prices are falling as well.
