Polymer Cellulose, probably cherry or sugar cain based. A type of semi-organic plastic. And some plastic sheathed metal threading.
It’s a pegboard junction. The board is not worth anything to boardsort (or most recyclers. You’ll need to have an xrf scan or acid test to find out what the pegs are. The wraps look grey so the wire is probably aluminium.
———— If you’re rural you may find a farmer interested in the board for a bit of change if you have a bunch of them. They can be shredded and burned as fuel. I wouldn’t call it toxic, but it’s not non-toxic either. Great starter fill for distance trash pits though. When I lived In SoMo we used to buy a bunch of old prototype boards from the university each spring and use about half a pound run through a bulldog shredder to start our burn pit for organics each month. Only needed a few ounces of kerosene instead of a few gallons.
Btw, don’t light it in your fireplace. Lol. Once it goes up, it isn’t easy to put out! And cane burns hot enough to warp steel log tables. Plus it smells like overcooked molasses.
