are black 3 leg transistors worth pulling a side to refine? what would be in them ?

if you mean the black square with three legs coming out the bottom and an Al/Cu tab out the top, no, they do not have any value... or at least BS doesnt pay anything for them.

The shell is a hematite based polymer usually
the back is usually silver or nickel plated copper. And the sst inside.
Worth refining? Only in bulk. As in tens of tens of tons
i sell dead ones for copper #2 or #3 depending on whos at the scale. You should get at least cbm for it so worst case toss them in with your motors and transformers.

Working ones put up on eBay. They're worth more to people buying parts.

honestly everything is worth more to people buying parts. the problem is, most parts are never bought.
