Couple of questions before the boards:
- old (1990 era) tape drive read heads, worth anything?
- are all riser boards considered gold finger or backplane?
On to the pics! Thanks for the help!

Those old tape drive heads often have cobalt.
If it is a local yard would be interested. $5.5-$5.7/lb
If not it would be hematite. 30c-35c/lb

Risers vary. The majority are finger card.

Number 5 i believe is on the low end of telco.

Thats a hdd board

3 leave the fingers and again believe you're skirting the edge if telco
Remove the bel unit. Its has a battery

2 telco... only because it's double sided flashed with those flatpacks. interface board.

The firewall board is peripheral

Number 2 has Bel boxes behind each eth port, are these batteries? Will remove if they are.

Also just got some boards that have a socketed device that says"timekeeper RAM, do not dispose in fire". Assuming that they are also batteries?

Yes remove all bel Dallas or thor Plastic squares/cubes you find.
Timekeeper... yes
if it has silver pins then simply recycle them the same way you recycle button cell batteries
If the have gold pins you can clip the pins for gold pin rate. And recycle the unit.
If it has fingers cut the fingers off and recycle the unit.

Awesome info, thanks much! Would hate to think of a battery going off on someone downstream!

We've been discussing those self-contained units for a few months and the general consensus is remove them for everyone's safety.

Actually check those bel cubes on 2. If it's plastic it's a bettery pack. If it's ceramic it's a solid state capacitor or resistor.
Use a razor knife/box cutter. If it cuts/digs it's plastic.
If it scratches it's ceramic. Ceramic stays. Plastic goes.
