Just to clarify. If u remove all the socketed ics and the gold cap chip u can get large socket. If u start de soldering or cutting off ics that are soldered to the board it will be lower. Peripheral probably Right lodos?

Exactly.
Though on that first board you're looking at midgrade removing soldered items... very quickly

That board up top, with the gold capped chip, it will go gold capped chip board. That gold capped chip is more important than a 6 ounce. But if worried cut the blank off. I've sold many like it to them in person.

If you ever want to get a chip from a board it only takes a few seconds, get a heat gun up to about 800 degress, hit the soder points on the bottom of the board for about 30 seconds, and use a flat head screw driver and pry the chip up. It will come up nice and easy, pins and all, not time flat. In that situation I'd leave the chip on, without it the board will bring a buck, $1.50, with it maybe $6.00. The chip by itself is only worth a couple bucks to Boardsort. Well it'd be about the same either way. What I do if the board has only one gold capped chip, leave, more than one it becomes a loss to leave them. Another thing is when you get boards with ceramic chips sodered in, just because you see no gold cap on top it's probably on the underside, and still gold capped chip board. Use the heat gun method I just posted about to partially pry up the chip to check. You'll find a lot of Motorola style chips this way. Just make sure you heat the soder up well before prying so you dont 'chip' the chip.
