i recently scrapped out around 40 lcd monitors and was wondering what to grade certain boards at and what i could pull to increase the grades on these boards. i sorted out all of the obvious brown boards, but i some that are either mid grade or peripheral(no clue how to distinguish), and some thin boards with lots of gold plating but only a few ic type chips, lots of mlccs though. I also have a bunch of the cables that are attached to the actual lcd screens. not sure if theres any value to them or not but i have a few that are gold plated and the rest have some sort of chip on them. working on sorting out my first shipment and i want to know whats going to be worth sending in and what i should sell to my local yard( they only pay 10 cents a pound regardless of grade. ill do a little math on some of these but the low grades will not be shipped for sure. ill try take some pics in a little bit here.

Most boards in lcd screens run from mid grade (the power board) or peripheral for almost everything else. Smart TVs often have a SOC board that will go green fibre with metal or telco.
And finally very high end ones with total gold plated external connectors and a crap load of ICs on the connector boards will also usually get telco.

Those flat wire ribbons you posted.
I cut the contacts off. Gold contacts go with gold fingers
Silver contacts go with silver/tin ram and the wires go as mixed wire (for boardsort) or silver/nickel and/or flat wire for large local yards. I have never had one of those little black rectangles scanned so I'm not sure what the material is but i leave it on the wires.

Thanks for the reply. My internet was acting up so I couldn't finish posting pics. Here's the ones I was thinking might be peripheral?

These don't have much on them so I'm guessing they're low grade?

And here's the bulk of the haul sadly. Lots of brown boards. I'm assuming if it's a brown board it's basically automatically low grade?

Everything you posted looks peripheral except the last bottom picture of power boards (low grade)
