Best guess, it must be electrically unstable to set off the dectors sensors so probably a 500 series chromium steel. .but I don't know how the systems work in the first place so that's just my best guess. Assuming your talking about the big plastic clamp on units.
If you are referring to the image posted below. The long rectangles are ferrite steel and worthless (steel rate) (black strip is ferrite iron, silver strip is chromium iron aluminium worth about a penny more oer pound) The flat square ones sometimes have copper or nickel In those cases the tags would go as the lowest grade of the metal, #3 or #4 at most large recyclers.
