Models

Dell pp29L (1525 aspiron) turns on only missing pa-12 cord. Can't get past a screen that says use the proper cord.

Dell pp18L Turns on but Missing hard drive and also needs proper cord. 2 compatible.

Acer KAWG0 (aspire 5532 series) Turns on but missing battery pack. Appears to be blanked or something because it has a message about the hardrive needing something reinstalled.

I also found an older Acer with cord and memory expansion that turns on and goes to desktop screen or whatever. Couldn't get it to properly surf on a private wifi signal but Mozilla and a public wifi worked well. Will get the model # of it when I get it back from somebody I gave it to who I hoped could figure out the private wifi issue. It connects then says limited or no connectivity. The only damage is on the outside of the Acer that's pictured here. They have all keys and undamaged screens..

My question is are these still nothing more than scrap or is there other options with boardsort?

Boardsort pays less for whole computers

You can auction them et al though as recoverable salvage since power up obviously working (wrong dell power bricks can be sold to. 20-50+)

Found a small computer shop about a mile from me and the guy there was willing to pay 45 so I let him have them. I wasn't trying to make much I wanted the guy to be able to get some too after making them complete units. He's also been buying lcd monitors from me for $6 a piece. He's gotta make something to keep his shop open too.

Good job, you could always ask him to give you the broken boards back so you can sell them to boardsort afterwards.

Thanks and I told him about boardsort cause he was saying he sells his obsolete towers to a truck driver and makes $1 off each.. I'm like oh no dude you should spend 5 minutes on each and be able to make a few more than that off each one. He seemed pretty interested lol. So hope he gets hip to boardsort.
