yes, but they will only be considered scrap shred material without the board. you will be better off taking that kind of stuff to a local scrap metal yard.

the floppy/cd drive price in the pricesheet is for whole drives that have the board.

They'll buy the separated materials but the prices are Lower than shipping costs for most people.
It's like sending them 50 pounds of crushed drink cans. Will the take them? Probably. Do they want them. No.
Is it worth sending? Absolutely not.

So if you have a complete drive you can send it in for .10 a pound but if it's disassembled it's just shred? Is it worth it to ship floppy/cd drives or should I just toss them in my steel pile for my local yard?

So I'm best off pulling the board out to ship in and tossing the rest of the drive in my pile for the local yard. Good to know. I have 2 floppy drives and 2 CD drives I set aside because I wanted to find out what was most cost effective before I started taking out screws.

Sort of...!
You're best off having an honest multi material local yard as well. Then breaking the drives down somewhat. There's a fair bit of aluminium in them worth 30-60 cent range

I pull the board

Knock everything out of the external shell (aluminium or magnesium) and toss the rest in al shred
