Floppy drives are considered mid-grade are they not? Also if a board is green on both sides even if small or such is it high grade.... And the board for Power Supply does every thing have to be off.

nope ,you can sell as complete board or even complete power supply as is but the shipping isn't worth it.if you can take any metal off and sell that to your local scarp yard then the board might be worth shipping..

in general floppy controller board will have mid to peripheral grade.it all depends on the board it self as well as if the pins and such are all still intact.

as for power supply i do not know what Boardsort wants off of them and what is ok to remove[ i asked for a complete buy list the other day] what i can tell you if you remove to much from any boardit will be less than low grade. Ive asked Boardsort myself about this very same thing..and that is the reply i received

Gotcha yes all the pins on the floppys are intact and such i dont take anything off any board i have shipped to boardsort before and it was a nice smooth transaction thats what im always shooting for... So im assuming if pins on it and that nothing was taking off then it would be mid grade..

Regarding floppy drive boards graded as peripherals, I found this - http://boardsort.com/escrapforum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18&hilit=floppy+drive

Yes, floppy boards will be considered Peripheral if they still have the pins (or fingers in rare cases).

However, some floppy boards have copper winds that look like small electric motors. Those need to be removed.
