I'm pretty sure the first one is peripheral.
On the MB: You can measure the pins on the cou slot if they are 1-3/4 or more it's lg socket if it's less then it's sm socket.
I haven't been doing this long enough to look at it and tell.

That looks like a modern board, they are usually small socket. I think it's 1995 and slot processor boards that are large socket, and laptop motherboards too.

Not entirely sure on the first one, it DOES have an IC socket, and a bunch of chips, but not really sure. Lost, any input on that one?
(Also the forum seemed to eat this message and I had to retype it!)

First one is a breakout board. Peripheral

Motherboard I'm almost positive is small socket but measure it to be sure.
