I had a Guy drop off a whole bunch of motherboard and server boards another boards but some of these after going through the box he's like slice them in half and I don't know how you would classify a motherboard that's been cut in half

I'm guessing here, but I think those are going to be either peripheral or maybe a small socket mb. At first glance I was thinking maybe back plane, but I think it has to much stuff on the board to go as back plane.

It WAS a motherboard; probably large socket given the ISA ports
NOW it's peripheral

Just actually read the text of your post. If you can match the halves together accurately and ship them together (two pieces of packing tape should do it) you can still get motherboard price for a split, cracked, or cut board.

I don't know if I can match up the parts there's only like 10 of them that he carved up. But he dropped off 40 other ones that are all still intact like I said I don't know what the guy was doing but I was more than happy to take them off his hands

Kind of looks like he was trying to refine them himself!
I've gotten scrap like that many times (Usually motherboards) and they were downgraded to midgrade at my local yard when I brought them in.
On another note, my local scrap yard has been buying small socket motherboards for the same price as boardsort. Just the motherboards, not the others.

That was my thought. . The missing AGP slot is the giveaway. Like he thought the pci slots would give him the same pins and gave up when he figured out the agp was the only good thing for self refining (and the socket, that's missing).
If he'd tried an ISA socket instead of pci next he may have kept going. Lol.
