This is from a Catalyst 3550 - 24 port. How should I Identify?

It's peripheral.
There's not enough IC presence to offset the board weight for anything else.

Thank you....same with this? It also came from the Cisco Catalyst 3550.

That's low grade, your better off to pull any transformers and aluminum heat sinks as they are worth more than the board itself.

you should get telecom for the first board. However, you should take off the copper coils just to be sure... also the aluminum (sometimes sheet steel) cages on the fiber optic ports on the lower left... they should come of with pliers or channel locks pretty easily, but if not, leave them on.

The BGA chips on that board are worth the value of the board alone. As long as that board does not have any really heavy components on the back side, its a telecom board.

In bulk (more than a few boards) I could agree with that but you'd have to remove all the coils, all the steel cages and covers. Etc.
as is I've always gone peripheral.
