Hi again - one last ID for today. The first set of photos is a cell phone key pad board front & back. There are some small black pieces of foam on the back side I'll pull off before bagging. There isn't much in the way of population but a lot of flashing so I wanted to confirm this one would be either mid-grade or peripheral? (I was leaning towards peripheral but wanted to confirm.)

The second set of boards is from the same cell phone - not much on that one either; it's got me stumped.

Thanks again for sharing your advice and knowledge and have a great rest of the weekend! - DB

The first set will go cell class. I believe the second set will go Peripheral, but I'm not 100% sure.....they may still go cell class.

In all honesty your better off pulling the batteries out of the cell phones and selling them as cell phones with out the batteries. The boards are $10/lb and the cell phone less batteries are $3.50/lb and cell batteries are 90 cents /lb.

Thanks rdw for your help on grading. I pulled that one apart this summer just to see what was inside. I'll keep the rest of the cell phones I'm sending in whole without battery. Thanks again - DB

I've done the same thing "just to find out what's inside". I know that $10/lb is tempting but cell phones are time consuming and then the board weighs 3/10ths of an ounce. I guess if you had a bunch of phones it might be worth it.
