I have a BUNCH of these from old motherboards and other things. Just wondering if there is anyone who BUYS these, or if I need to just take them to household hazardous waste dropoff?

I went through my bottle of button batteries this weekend and found a few marked alkaline that I tossed into the bucket of AAs and others for HH HazWaste. I found 3 marked silver, but I think you need about five pounds of them to amount to anything, so maybe by the year 2525 I could amass five pounds of those...

I have a lot more marked Lithium.

Almost all button cells with modern motherboards are dry cell lithium.
Silver ones run 10č-50č each in quantity of 10 or more. Try a search for we buy silver batteries or we buy watches.
Most “we buy” companies are, questionable. But if they pay for shipping or ultimately it covers postage; no reason to not recycle them.

All other batteries: if you live near a highway rest stop take a short ride. Most have a free battery drop bin or flask. Green America, Recycle USA and dozens of others collect consumer batteries for free at Information And rest stop drops Across the country.
Also try local hardware stores. Home Depot, lowes, Ace....
