Whilst the world continues to have its various fights and wars, something interestingly has happened in metals markets.
Iron and ore both have dropped by 4-6 percent.
And yet steel went up. And up. And up. …and up?

Interesting. Time to stockpile iron ore? Lol

Now might be a good time to buy into absurdly low priced mining stocks, like Northern Dynasty.
All I know is that this "chip shortage" has been great for secondary resale market prices. As an e-waste recycler, it's like a license to print money.
Of course, we will all need wheelbarrows full of cash to afford basic commodities here very soon....

This is the first time I’ve noticed such a split in directions since I started following the more source level values.
Given the tank in ore price this may very well be a good time to scoop up some mining stocks.
Or even better, a company. Lol.

Or, if it isn't perceived as un-American, Russian company values are TANKING.
Would be a great investment in say MMC Norilsk Nickel, down to about $8 bucks from $35 pre-invasion a week ago. Plop a thousand bucks in, if they default, worth the gamble, if it increases (it should) rake in the dough.
Doubt the Russkies will pay the dividend to a Westerner as retaliation though.

Historically the best time to buy stocks is just after a major international conflict happens. Stocks tank world wide. Then in the following months and years climb back to pre conflict levels.
It doesn’t work for ALL stocks but it is the general reality.

Big personal investors tend to panic sell like idiot sheep. But they always come back up.

Shortly after my last post, the fed stopped all trading of Russian companies across the board. They are OK to hold, but buying/selling has been halted.
BTW MMC Norilsk down to $3 bucks from $8 yesterday......

Not being knowledgeable on stock market trading, I would have to pass even if it were allowed, as I don't know either or(e).
