The fastest way we can help is for you to post your boards’ photos. From there it’s generally practice. Low and mid grade are fairly simple Low has no ICs, or is brown, white or grey. Low grade stuff is basically expensive trash.
Midgrade has ICs or has copper. And is not brown. It’s better than low but is isn’t up to the peripheral rate.
Peripheral is generally a catch ‘most’ category. If it’s not one of the higher grades, AND is obviously not a motherboard, peripheral is the starting point. Too much steel sends peripheral to midgrade. 2 ICs on a six inch board with a dozen steel brackets gets midgrade.
