Why is the Auto board category low in price? Even though the pictured board for the category undeniably is High Peripheral. My intuition tells me it's due to impurities from sealant. But. I want to hear it from an escrapper that knows.
Here to learn like everybody else.

Sealants, rubberized, coated, automobile oils and salt, corrosion issues and water damages, etcetera. The only good ones would be new/old production and hobbyists building their own cars. After market ECU,ECM, and OBCs can range into High per or above; they are usually clean and free of coatings. Programmable units fetch higher as well, which is most what they use anyways.

I work on old cars a lot and have scraped a few ECU's. a lot of them has oil, silicone and other goop inside them, wile the chips are good but state they are in is not.
