Hi friends! Hoping to figure out where this little guy goes. If I’m not mistaken I believe where the circles are located are possibly gold..?
To be honest I’m not the best when it comes to technology but that’s why I’m here to learn. I just started getting into electronics & motherboards almost two years. Motherboards are just so fascinating to me. (Going to make sure to just post one picture at a time because I’ve realized when there are multiple pictures it can be a lot at least for me.)
But yeah, just asking for a friend?:)

I would say low Telco
There’s only minimal ic population in the Gold is all surface layer. There’s no internal level that would make it a sandwich style board.

My question is what was it?
Edit :
The topic title tells me it was a scanner.
