Exactly. If all you do is sell a few sticks and move on, so be it.
If you’re activity involved in the retro scenes, be they computers, games, etc, there are people who will ban your userid from bidding/buying and they share their lists within the community.
The advice is also somewhat old now, given I’ve been saying this for what, 10 years here and since EDO “died” in general.

There’s an old thread I’ll try to dig up from Reddit, that I think was from around 2010 or so that just blasted everything about a short list of ‘don’t sell this’ that got a ton of replies, many that were removed/deleted, so if the mods were pulling the posts, you can guess what they said.

There are some big names in the fan world that are, fickle. They also are very large ebay sellers. So sure sell. Just don’t be unreasonable, you will get backlash (I got creamed for selling a ram cart for the mega drive over the “respectable” price. Found myself banned from 3 sellers I used to use regularly.
That’s kinda my point
