When did IBM stop making personal computers?
I’m not even sure this is an IBM just yet, but for $18 I couldn’t pass it up.

Officially 2005.
Unofficially they still make some PCs for in-house use. Around 50K per year.
It’s Possible to come across a 2010 or 2015 or 2019 IBM workstation under the right (aka totally wrong) circumstances. But chances are it predates the early 2000s

Got lucky again :)

Got to Sugarland this afternoon to pick this lot up and wound up with 7 printers and 10 late 90’s computer towers for free. Just out of curiosity I pulled the cover off of one it has 4 GF cards, HDD, CD drive, 3-1/2 floppy drive and Pentium III slot processor.

No kidding.

But I feel like we paid for part them in a pervious auction. They had some “ new in the box video cards” they were in a hurry, I was in hurry (cold front was and storms were headed that way) I never checked the boxes while I was there. Got home and was checking them out all 9 boxes empty. Luckily I only paid $24 for the whole lot and it had a rolling cart I wanted to repurpose. I emailed them pictures and they offered to make it right, but told them I would take this one up as lesson learned.
