I found a small box of loose boards at the town dump. I'm used to finding a computer tower or 2 but dont usually find loose boards. I'm perplexed as to what they are as I've never seen any like this.

Take good care of those white IC chips with the gold cap. I sold old boards similar to these, in a special category, since I was delivering in person.

My guess?
Someone gave up on a custom a/v system.
You have some old boards common in early digital home theatre equipment. Some more modern equipment like the video and sound card.
Looks like a future retro attempt that failed.
My guess is as good as any other.
It could truly be a box of random boards as well. People collect strange things.
