Hello,

I'm Peter and new here. I am getting my first lot of boards ready to send in. I have a box of hard disk controller boards. No problem listing those.

I also have a box of (5lbs) of EMC SAS Interposer boards. It even appears to have a gold plated cap.

Are these also classified as a hard disk board? If not, what should it be listed as.

I appreciate any input and help.

I would put this one in high telco. For ease of statement this is a passive board. No actual controllers. The controllers reside on the peripheral devices and the interpreter on a connected board. Usually the motherboard or a SAS controller board.

However it does have fairly thick gold plated pins plus the two gold pin ports. The gold cap, actually a CMC, not an IC, adds a small bit to the value. And a nice high density of valuable components and no low value components.

High telco.
