Hi, I am wondering why black fiber CPUs are worth more than green fiber by such a dramatic amount what makes them special?

Multiple aspects of the chip design.
For start: most of what is collected as black fibre are still manufactured using the ceramic package processes. This means thicker bonding wires, large internal plates, fewer, thicker diameter plated pins.

Actually the closest comparison to Intel black fibre CPUs is the AMD K62 capless, and the ceramic VIA Geode, and later Cyrix GX chips. These chips have an actual component value on par with black fibre. As do most late ceramic pentiums and Motorola chips (Mac Ceramics), and capless IBM Ceramics.

A bit of deduction is made from those ceramics though because most black fibre use a smaller manufacturing process than the late ceramics: though considerably larger than green fibre CPUs.

The last of the GX chips are green fibre colour but use the same ceramic-derived process. And have shiny gold heat caps. They go as black fibre as well as of the last time I sent some in.

I could go into considerably more technical detail if asked but suffice it to say black fibre chips are the last push from the ceramic manufacturing process. Where green fibre (in general) shrinks everything considerably.
