is this used internal jaz drive worth anything other than as scrap? I don't know if it works or not.

If I decide to scrap it, would the board be graded as a hard drive board? It looks like a hard drive that is missing it's platters on the inside, if you look through the door.

Thank you!

If it’s scsi they run in the $10-$25 range.
External one are fairly inexpensive and not worth the hassle.

Board is Hard drive class

The jazz is a removable hard drive cartridge system.

Yep. It’s an internal, scsi drive.

I’ve seen working ones fetch up over $50 or so but not tested your looking at a tinkerer or tech instead of end user. The cartridges were problematic but like most of the company’s drives the unit itself is built fairly well. They tend to not brake easily. When they do; they’re based on an old technology that’s no longer available in production segments.
So you’re looking at someone willing and I take a risk or someone needing a part for an another drive. Ultimately a small market.
