Cans are at $0.42 for me. But keep in mind food and beverage aluminium is more than just the Al, the bonus over the Al rates is the tin coating.

Not sure about your management at that yard, most aluminium cans have plastic. DrP/7Up/RC are known for using more than Pepsi or Coca-Cola.
But I assume they buy sardine cans? If so they need to rethink pet cans. Sardine cans and other aluminium fish cans have a plastic lining thick enough to measure with some manual picometers.

Just scratch the inside of one with a nail or knife to see the line it makes through the plastic.

One yard makes me remove paper labels, another doesn’t. Otherwise both take all aluminium containers. Including food trays and food tins. Food grade foil.

One has a separate category for aluminium paper wrappers (Arbys, sonic, Checkers). Not listed but if it’s mostly clean they’ll take it. They add them to the anti-static bags, foil food bags (potato chips etc) and packaging.
