 Post subject: "digital logic chips"

the description says "digital logic chips". i am not familiar with brand new chips. is this really how the come and are they of a type that boardsort takes as ic chips? or is this something different? it says 25 spools of them weigh 60 lbs. any input is appreciated.

Ohkay, that’s retro oldskool level distribution.

That’s either very good or ver y bad.

My personal suggestion, ask for proof of lead.
You want Apx 1/4 meter, or 2 inches, or unspooling to prove the chips are on the tape. What type of chips. Etc.
All I see is a spool.

A logic “chip” can refer to all sorts of things from a less than well versed seller.
From ICs down to MOS slabs and even gate breaks.
