I posted before about NVME SSD drives. Do they fall under hard drive boards? How can I make them unreadable with out losing value? Someone mentioned twisting to break the connections, but not cut in half. Has anyone from Boardsort have an answer?

You need to take a photo to be sure but most fall into hard drive
Board.

The safest way is to clear them is to encrypt them before resale, disposal if they work. Then reformat them.
No key, no recovery.

If that is not an option you can over volt them. Frying the cells.
Look up the board reference.
Manuals dot com, scribe, etc.
You need to gator clamp or solder cables to the electrical path openings; the read and write paths.
Then plug it in to a 120 line. Instant poof. In all ways. Do this outside. I use a push button in line 120v:50a push button switch for this with gator clips.
