Is there any value to mosfets as stand alone items. If not, do they go in with anything else?

Iff you whack the ceramic/plastic with a hammer, and break it off, usually they can be added to number two copper. No reason otherwise to remove them from the board. Some local yard may buy them as Copper bearing material.
