Here are a few pounds of NOS gold pin gold cap chips still in their original packaging. Not sure what to do with these. Scrap them to Boardsort or try to sell them as chips that perhaps somebody could use.

$175/lb! I wonder how fast they would sell and how much more you could get for them.

You should definitely check eBay to see if you can find the chip and if any have sold recently. There's probably a few collectors here as well if you want to offer any. I've seen some chip forums (I'm not a part of and not sure how active they are) that might be another way to go.

Good luck.

If you post the chips I can tell you if there’s a collector’s market for them.

Otherwise you have a nice payday already. Gold cap n pin 8086.

Ok, here are some pictures. I can't seem to find ebay sales for the 3-4 I tried to look up. Some of them I can't seem to find any reference online, like the Sigma-Delta chips. I have a lot of duplicates of the chips in the first photo - new and in tubes.

The top picture are the chips that are in bulk. They are:
TRW 1016J5CB (companies seem to list pulls of this chip for sale)
TRW 08HUJ5C
TRW 1048J6C
Delta Sigma L120C
76641-5
76321-2
AMD AM99C88 - This is a SRAM memory chip
IRFG9110

The bottom two photos show the top and bottom of two chips. The upper one is a huge Sigma-Delta chip with 64 gold pins that has a gold cap on the bottom. The lower one is a gold cap gold pin Intel EPROM. I am probably going to keep these two because they are just cool.

Well right off I can say the AMD ram and rom chips should be in the $1-$5 range for the age of yours when in working condition.

The one you have pares with the full 9000 series.
The he cornerstones being the 9080 cpu and 9920 host controller.

What makes this one useful is with a board battery output at 2v it can hold it’s memory indefinitely.
Making it a good replacement for the 2764 ROM.
DOA they’re not uncommon and I’d guess a few bucks for them. Working I’d put it around $5-$10.

Lost,

I assume that all of the discussion is on the AMD AM99C88 chip?
I don't know what the other chips are, so I am unsure if any of those are ROM or RAM.

Thanks!

Correct. I’ll be back on the rest later when I have a chance to run some searches.
I knew that one off the top of my head though.

Looks to be in the $10 range.
But there’s little collection market

I KNOW I’ve seen this hundreds of times and this logo, I can never remember the damn company!

The two Intersil chips, no collectible value

AMD covered.

Finally, scrap as well

Looks like most of this would be in the generic range of parts value; being in original packaging and assuming you can’t test them.

My suggestion on the AMD ram chips is to try selling them. As is.
The rest is hit or miss on value. And may not be worth the hassle if someone wants a working part and you can’t test it.

That little rectifier may be better on ebay etc. looks like they can fetch $20-$30.
