I have a large number of ICs that are in something like a can formfactor. They are op-amps, and other things, though I have not looked them all up. I have not seen these discussed on the forum in the past. Generally, they are all gold cap (bottom) and gold pin. The image of the one below is a fast op-amp made by Elantec.

Is there a collector market for these? If not, what category would they go in for scrapping?

Thank You!

As far as scrapping it, I sent in some transistors that were similar but not exactly what you have. If they're all the same bag them together, or separate if there are major differences between them, and send them in with a note (and email Chris) that those items are for testing. Boardsort will analyze it with the xrf gun and give you a rate based on how much gold is there.
