Small, 4x6 "width" card with 8086 chip. Total weight of card and chip is 1.6 ounce, or 1/10 pound, which is 70 cents sold as is, as gold cap chip board. Without pulling and weighing the chip ( I have a few others like this) more money in pulling chip or selling as is?

Which category would the chip be in by itself? Does it have gold legs? Pop it off and weigh it.

Nice. That’s a processor board. Not too common.

You’d have to do the math on it. Those ceramic chips are expensive at the moment. 8086 class with gold legs.

At $175 per pound I’d think taking the chips out would be better. Assuming gold pins or teeth in the connector edge, the board is high peripheral.

I would cautiously suggest considering selling it. Those aren’t common.

These were mostly used for Motorola and MOS-T computers to either dual boot or translate “IBM” software. Such as for the Apple ][ or the CBM VIC and 64. The BBC-m etc. They were much more common (but still rare) in Europe where the Acorn (ARM) and Motorola platforms dominated the 80s.
