Hi,

I noticed the CMOS (coin/cell) batteries need to be removed from motherboards prior to dropping off. Do they also need removed from laptops being sent in as partial?

I've been pulling the HDD, RAM, and regular Li-ion batteries, but wasn't sure if I need to open them up far enough to pull those.

Thanks,
Uriah

If you can easily access them, they should be removed.
If not, then leave them be. Nobody expects you to take apart a laptop to remove a battery then put it back together. ;)
