Sorry it’s not better news. There’s just nothing of value in them. 3 small boards. The system control board (main/mother), the optical com unit (with a tiny low value DLP-DSP unit), and the IO board for ports/connectors.
A small motor. A bunch of belts. Usually a small power relay board. About 40c-1$ in ABS plastic.
Quartz glass (which is decent if you have a buyer), that’s occasionally taped down but often glued with BPAC based glue. That literally bonds the glass to the ABS plastic.
The thin strip of tin laminate can go with tin wire. And there’s some wire in there. Mostly aluminium and copper.
In the absolute best of all sales circumstances a high end flatbed scanner will fetch $2-2.50 in scrap. They take 5-30 minutes to take apart. So most recyclers usually brutally axe/cut the io board loose. Smash the glass to get the DLP-DSP and shred the rest as abs+steel.
