 Post subject: Gold Plated Bare Boards

I have some bare boards that have gold plating. Do you accept this? If so, what category do they fall in, gold finger?

Nah those are immersion gold boards. This is probably at most low peripheral. But I'd email Chris to be sure.

He’s right. Low peripheral.

A) these are rejects or cancels. They weren’t finished. No population.

B) these are mist plated. The gold is added to the surface, not the other way around. The generally adhered to layer marking for anything beyond tin is missing.

Outside of scrap…
I can’t see any reason they were rejected so look up the id and see if there’s any value here. Looks like a cancelled product to me, not a quality rejection.
