Post subject: Is this worth doing? GPU Disassembly

i have a bunch of dead/non useable outdated GPUs laying around, is it worth it to pull GPU die/ram/chokes etc off the board to scrap individually?

i can pull die/ram/chokes off a GPU in about 10 minutes on my rework bench so its not a time issue.

Pulling anything off a board that is not a battery, heatsink/fan, or socketed will downgrade the board to Midgrade or lower. Take off the battery, heatsink/fan and bracket and sell them as Gold Finger Card Clean NO Fan NO Sink NO Bracket.

You’re loosing money stripping most GPUs you wind up with a pile of ICs and gold fingers. The math isn’t there for you.
