So my first time trying to sell material here. However have spent uncounted hours, research, watching videos and going over and over hundreds of times how to categorized all my stuff correctly. This has been many months of planning with finally now attempted execution. Everything is neatly packaged as well as labeld and noted individual weights per item. Box is ready to go. However upon trying to get a shipping label at the lowest rate/fast rate possible it tend to run pretty pricy. Still subtract that from my expected payout stated by you I was okay with the difference in profit. Just now picked up both boxes to move to front door to be loaded tomorrow and I realized something just is not right here. The box seemed pretty darn light for what according to YOUR own stated "calculations " say. So I decided to throw the entire box on the scale as a whole just to verify since had not yet done this and to my shock and utter surprise. There was something significantly wrong here. I attempted and quoted shipping label based solely on your own provided and stated calculated "weight" and this would be why the price seemed quite high. Upon your provided "weight" calculations whatever it is your actual calculations are from the difference was astonishing. Your weight stated it should total weight of 34.5lbs. I also have a 2nd box for same loading and decided to repeat this process with it also. That "weight calculate " by you stated it was 24.25pbs. Here is the kicker. The actual total weights for both are the following. Box#1 your weight 34.5 actual weight 12.82lbs. Box#2 your weight 24.125 actual weight 16.76. So based on these calculations something is not correct here. Please inform me on how in the world this actually is "calculatef" and or why there is this much discrepancy? Thank you in advance and hope to hear from you soon!

You are typing your weights in wrong.

I pulled your invoice. Here is an example of what you submitted:

2 Pounds 25 Ounces of Power Adapters No Wire at $0.20 per pound = $0.71

The 25 ounces is not correct. I suspect it is 2.5 ounces and you are reading your scale wrong. When calculating pounds and ounces, you will never see a weight in ounces greater than 15, otherwise it would be considered an additional pound.

Another example from your invoice:

1 Pounds 67 Ounces of Auto Board Without Box at $0.40 per pound = $2.08

Again, 67 ounces is not a valid weight. I mean, sure, you can have 1 pound 67 ounces, but it is somewhat of an odd way to write, considering what you really have is 5 pounds 3 ounces.

My suggestion would be to start over, reweigh your material after familiarizing yourself with the operation and reading of your scale and the proper recording of those weights. Once you have accurate readings, re-enter the data and you will find our calculator is in fact correct.

May I also suggest that you reconsider shipping many of those items. Power adapters and auto board are extremely low paying materials and will likely cost more to ship than what it will pay. Something to think about.

I wonder if the scale is displaying in tenths of a pound? For me the price of shipping is not worth sending anything that pays less than $1.50/lb. Unless I gather up enough to pack a gaylord box and ship it via freight carrier.
