IFixIT did an awesome breakdown of the new Nintendo so I'm just going to post a link and save a few hundred dollars.

The motherboard is cell class. The rest is peripheral and telco.
This is one of the few times I'll pick on the public. If you're scrapping a new switch you're a fool. Ebay the parts from this awesome tablet.
Though I may buy one to hack. Looks like it could be an awesome Linux (or android etc) tablet and all the parts are off the shelf even if the assembly is proprietary. So Linux drivers should be available.

Update!
I have three now
One for playing the awesome games.
One I flashed with the game cube bios and a few mods: I have access to all the GC/wii virtual system purchases that I’ve made

The third?
This is a powerful platform. Nintendo simply fails to deliver on the ability of the system!
I’m running 4BSD midnight with ishell and Darwin. I can run 99% of my iOS and iPadOS apps.
