 Post subject: Gold flashed with screen

Gold flashed board with screen from 25 year old printer. Remove the screen? Low peripheral since low population unless something is under the screen? Thank you for any info trying to gain a better knowledge.

*Usually* , there is a decent IC under the older screens of printer, radios, faxes, and other older small GUI items etc. ; if so I would go for High Per, if not Low Per.

Yes, remove the screen.

Lost has mentioned before that certain types of displays can add value, as far as I know, lcds are not one of those.
