I have 200 plus Pounds of IDE/SATA hard drives both tower and laptop. Current pricing is 1$ per pound does that apply to all

Yes. You’re best off removing the boards and selling them S drive without board.

We did some math a few months back and there really seems no real advantage to strip the board off the drive instead of shipping it whole. Combined pricing of the two seems nearly identical. Are we missing something?

If you're shipping to Boardsort, removing the boards allows you ship a smaller volume of higher priced material (the boards) and then use a local scrap yard for the remainder of the drives.

If you're already driving to Boardsort with everything, you're math probably is right.
