Hi all, I'm new to all of this, and wanted to verify I was classifying these boards correctly. Could someone take a look, and indicate if I made any mistakes?

Additionally, I know it is okay to leave smaller heatsinks on motherboards (the ones that attach to flatpacks / iGPUs / etc), but what about for backplanes (specifically, Picture F and G)?

And finally, the boards in Pictures A, C and F have these spring-loaded mounting screws on them. Do those need to be pried off?

Thank you for your time.

Answers starting from the top.

Please try to limit posts to around 6 boards total, otherwise it is a lot to go through.

1. At least high peripheral, maybe one of the telecom grades. Remove metal bracket, and leave finger on unless told otherwise by someone else.
2. Clean gold finger card, don't trim.
3. At least high peripheral, wait for someone else to verify.
4. Clean gold finger card, don't trim.
5. Clean gold finger card, don't trim.
6. Clean gold finger card, don't trim.
7. Clean gold finger card, don't trim.
8. High peripheral
9. High peripheral
10. Clean gold finger card
11. Backplane, remove heatsinks.
12. At least high peripheral, remove heatsink.
13. High peripheral
14. Backplane
15. Backplane
16. At least high peripheral, wait for another opinion. Please remove coin battery on left side in unexpanded view.
17. Backplane

You can leave the spring screws on the board since they are permanently attached.

Always remove heatsinks from material that is higher than midgrade if you are able to without removing the soldered chip below from the board.

This has me confused. First because I'm trying to reference letters to numbers, but second because I thought 2, 4, 5, 6, & 7 would be backplane cards. They do have gold fingers, but most backplane card have gold fingers or a gold pin connector. Please educate me :)

Sorry, didn't mean to confuse anyone, it was easier to start at the top of the list and work my way down, especially given the number of boards posted. Ex. Q=1, A=17, etc...

I graded the fingered backplane expansion boards as gold finger cards because that is what they went as when I brought similar boards to Boardsort.

Noted, I'll limit future posts. Thank you for taking the time to sift through all of them. Note to self: upload images in reverse order to have them displayed in proper order!

For clarity, I'm going to translate the numbers to the original letters.

I have a follow-up question for this comment with regard to motherboards, but I'll make a separate post for that question.
