With a quick search I saw in another topic a similar board went as peripheral but it was specifically stated that was because of the attached screen. I just removed the screens on a couple (I save screens anyway) and I was wondering if that bumps it up to teleco or even cell.

Low telco on this one.

Depends on age and to a lesser extent design with Sharp, HP, and TI calculators.
Older pre mid 90s most have extensive ceramic chips. That’s big plated Leads, large silver balls, etc. Yes, some of those will even make cellphone class; like the Sharp Pocket Accountant and 3000 and 5000 HPs, the 84, 86, and original ‘79 99 from TI.

Most from the late 90s-2000s are low or high telco. After 2005 all Sharp and post 2012 most TI are peripheral or low telco.
I say most though. There’s always exceptions.

Before scrapping graphing and programmable calculators always look them up. There’s a huge collector’s market out there. Even dedicated conventions.
Like retro tech in general collectors go through some extreme lengths to keep their prized possessions mint. So original parts is also a huge market pushing dead calculators into double digits sometimes.
Without digging this looks to be early 2010s or late 2000s.
Which would have been in the $5-$10 range dead and $25-$75 for working.
