These are all one piece it seems.

Similar to your slot to PGA; the chip should be able to be pulled out of the socket and go K6 grade.

Again; I know similar has been posted before but I couldn't find anything searching for the other and didn't see this either.

Interesting. Thank you for the information! I didn't want to break anything trying to get it off.

It looks socketed and may be snug, just go easy prying up a little along each edge initially.

DONT SCRAP THESE!!
This is an AMD K6 upgrade that would slot over your typical Socket 7/PGA370 if you were running an older cpu and didn't want to spring for a new computer. This was a cheaper alternative and somewhat more effective.
These are becoming harder to find as the years go on, and they have more value to the vintage computer community than as scrap.
