These are Front & Back images of items.
One looks like Back Plane on one side of it.
The otherlooks like RAM but am not sure.

the first is a power module of some sort... I looked it up awhile ago and i believe it regulates voltages for the cpu on a server board. It is not considered RAM (or at least the guy at the dock told me that). I clip the gold fingers off and throw the rest in my peripheral box.

the second would be a backplane.

That first board is difficult. No... they're not ram.
They don't make telco either. But you may fetch peripheral without the fingers especially since another user says they do that. Those are nice fingers.

Yes they are regulator boards for paired card servers. Personally I'd try eBay first since there aren't many paired cards of any form out there.

Its the bank regulator for ibm based eserv servers.
Looks like they run 10-$15. Or so.

They are only good for scrap now... if you hadn't removed the heat-sink from the one side I would have suggested Ebay.

I hadn't really thought about it, but they may give you gold finger card classification... in that case you would have to see if it is still worth cutting the fingers off or not.

I have been cutting the fingers off those for so long, I can not remember why now... They may have told they were peripheral (even with the fingers), or maybe i just assumed they were peripheral??

If they do give you gold finger grade, those things are pretty heavy so you would probably be better off keeping the fingers if that is that case. Either way, let us know what you find out!

I hadn't thought of selling these things at ebay but will look into this now. Considering everything I get has been discarded by someone, I don't know how to tell if an item is good (functional) specially when I don't know what it is :)

Have a large HP server here now with dual CPUs, weighs about 50#s - was 7 of them to scrap but decided to keep one for tinkering with. Keep me busy this winter trying to figure out just what I have here.
