Hi,
I have a pretty massive amount of different types of alkaline batteries. Do you guys take these and how much do you pay for them? if not, can you supply me with the name of a company that does take them? my stock of them is building more and more.

thank you,
michael

Board sort does not take them.
By alc I assume you refer to one use disposable batteries in general...not just alc chemically?

Most yards that take both steel and precious metals will buy them
They range between $40/ton for steel rate up to a few hundred /ton.
C d and cube batteries are worth higher rates than a class due to larger al and nickel quantity.
Alc batteries run the low end. lithium dry cells 1.35 and 1.5volt on the higher end.
Button cell alc batteries run between 12c-20c per lb. They are nickel-chrome cases.
Make sure contacts are separated or tapped.
Easiest way in quantity is stack them vertically side by side positive (+) up and shrink wrap a layer of cardboard between layers of batteries
