The board it came from: remove the two cylinders. They’re either batteries or capacitors. The board would probably clear peripheral just barely.

The IC is 8086 class.

I’m not sure what you mean by test. As in want to know it works? Boardsort doesn’t offer that kind of service. You’ll need to find a hole-in-the-wall tv shop tinkerer that deals with “archaic” electronics. They usually have a rom box they can test it with.
