how would i disassemble these . on 1, do i snip the ribbon wire and throw the rest in dirty allum? do i do the same with 2. may be able to get 500+ of each if it matters.

maybe i asked the question wrong. is there any hidden value here that i do not see. thanks

Top two. The box will come loose. Try bending with two pairs of players or lockjaws.

Bottom. That’s layered. If it’s not glass try splitting it apart.

here is a pic of the panel peeled off and cut into and cut open. there are no wires. there are printed electrical paths but i cant tell what the are made of. do they have any value?

here is a pic of the end of other piece. the frame is stainles i think but the top is something else. what class would it be. thanks

Oops. That didn’t come apart like I expected.
Normally they peal off whole. Especially older ones.

The trace and contact points are generally silver or alloy in older ones. Nickel in the last 2 decades or so, but tin-nickel has gotten popular lately.
Standard Mylar
Yours apparently got stuck on.

I don’t have to replace to many so from the smaller panels I tend to just roll up and tape into a tube. I’ll occasionally send one or two to boardsort as mixed wire but my local buyer takes Mylar as wire so I have no reason to ship it.


The other piece will fall into motors or breakage

thanks for the follow up. i stopped by my local yard with one and he said he would give me dirty allum @.10 as is, so i will probably just tale the easy route on that one.
