These pics are the front and back side of the same boards. I tear down alot of DVD, Blueray, and CD players. These boards are found on the disk reader. Can you tell me (I plan to sell them to Boardsort) if they are worth my time? I know some of them can contain PM's such as Palladium, Rhodium, Silver, and Gold. Please help me grade them.

The three board pieces would be Low Grade. The middle piece could probably go as mixed wire. The little reader head might be able to go in Motors/Transformers since it has some copper on it. Based on that, it probably wouldn't be worth your time to remove them.

Thank you so much. This will free up alot of time. ;) I HATE breaking those stupid things down. Now I know. Based on your assessment, I will probably just toss them in with shred.

What I do is after I strip the controller board from a CD/DVD drive, I toss the drive into an empty computer case, then depending on how much I have, I'll either haul my shred to the scrap yard, or I'll take it to the local recycling center and toss it into their scrap metal bin. Last haul of shred that went to the scrap yard was over 300 pounds and I got 6.50 per hundred.
