I think it's out of a gaming computer I don't think it's a gold top I think it's a sticker thanks for the info

Ya, I am thinking that this one will fall into the small or metal socket COLORED motherboard category. If someone with more experience says differently, I defer to them.

Could you take better picture of the cpu? I cannot tell if it is a gold cap chip or not.

I'm inclined to go small socket colored board since the CPU appears to be soldered onto the board. The CPU has the appearance of being a gold cap, but I don't see enough IC population on the board for it to fetch gold cap board grade, and I can't tell if the CPU is a gold cap or if there's a gold sticker applied to the top of the chip.

I can’t tell if that is a sticker or an actual gold capped GPU. 1gigapro is a Cyrix III series CPU, it came in gold capped PGA or BGA. However, I can’t find examples of the BGA variant with a gold cap online, all I find are regular metal cap.

But at the same time, if that really is a sticker, it doesn’t make sense as I doubt it would have helped improve cooling.
